With the approaching Cyclone Alfred expected to impact the greater Sunshine Coast region as early as Thursday 6 March, we want to keep you updated on how this may affect your Good Harvest home delivery.
What You Need to Know
To ensure you can count on receiving your fresh produce for the week, here is our plan for getting you through the cyclone and keeping your kitchen stocked.
✅ Wednesday Deliveries: To try and get ahead of the weather, we are going to fast track some deliveries this week and get them out on Wednesday late afternoon (estimated between 4pm-6pm). The following postcodes can expect deliveries on Wednesday, but rest assured that if you are going to receive your box on Wednesday, you will receive a SMS earlier in the day to notify you.

✅ Thursday Deliveries: Unless you received your order a day early, these will go ahead, but your delivery will arrive earlier in the day than usual. This will help avoid potential delays caused by the severe weather.
Thursday deliveries by postcode: 4551 (partial), 4553, 4554, 4555, 4556, 4557, 4558, 4560 (partial), 4572, 4575.
✅ Friday Deliveries: NONE. All Friday deliveries have been shifted to Saturday.
✅ Saturday Deliveries: All Friday deliveries have been shifted to Saturday.

✅ Warehouse Box Pickups: Pickups from our Coolum warehouse will be available Friday 10am-2pm, or Saturday 7am-12pm. You do not need to tell us what day you will arrive - if you've got a pickup scheduled, come in whichever of these windows suits you.
✅ Bread: It is likely that there will be no or very limited bread available this week. We are still in communication with The Wonky Loaf as to whether we'll be able to source your bread in time for box deliveries, but rest assured that if you have ordered a loaf and we're not able to get it to you, we will refund you asap.
✅ Weekend markets: Saturday’s Kawana Farmers Market and Sunday’s Noosa Farmers Market will be weather-dependent, so watch this space. As long as we are able, our warehouse market at 7/25 Quanda Road in Coolum Beach will be open on Saturday morning 7-12:30 as well.

Q. Can I pick up my box instead of getting it delivered?
A. Yes! All box pickups will be available Friday 10am-2pm and Saturday 7am-12pm to make it easy for you to quickly and safely collect your produce. If you usually have your produce delivered but would prefer to pick it up this week, make that change in your customer portal before your order processes, or contact our team asap and they can help you out.
Q. What is the address of your Coolum warehouse?
A. Our address is 7/25 Quanda Rd in the Coolum Industrial Area. There is plenty of parking available in the carpark, and additional side street parking if required.
Q. How can I change my order this week from home delivery to pickup?
A. We’ve made this very easy for you – simply email us at boxes@goodharvest.com.au, let us know you’d like to pickup your box, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Q. Can I pick my box up on Thursday instead?
A. No, we are keeping everyone’s safety front of mind. Given the weather conditions are forecast to be too severe to safely be on the roads, we will only be offering pickup on Friday or Saturday this week.

Q. I usually have a Thursday delivery. What time will I receive my box this week?
A. To get ahead of the storm, some Thursday deliveries will be coming a day early. If this is you, you'll be contacted directly to sort out the details. Please note that we are starting our Thursday deliveries very early this week to keep ahead of the weather, so we expect most deliveries will arrive before lunchtime.
Q. I usually have a Friday delivery. When will I receive my box this week?
A. We will not be making any deliveries on Friday due to Cyclone Alfred. Your safety, and the safety of our team, are our highest priority. Friday orders will be delivered on Saturday this week.
Q. Will your farms be ok?
A. We sure hope so! But of course it will depend on the severity of the storm. We are praying that all our local partner farms stay safe and are spared from damage. But in the event of any storm-related supply issues, we will always endeavour to bring you the best quality organic produce from our Australia-wide partner network.
