Recipe Feature 🍇 Grapes

Grapes are such a delicious fruit and many consider these gems to be ‘natures candy’, and we couldn’t think of a more accurate description than this! 

They’re perfect on their own, but have you ever cooked with them?

These following recipes may just make you love grapes even more!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of green grapes, frozen (or red)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or alternative sweetener of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lime zest
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In a food processor, puree the frozen grapes, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Add remaining ingredients if desired and puree until smooth.
  3. The frozen sorbet will keep in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Ingredients

  • 400g red grapes
  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 200g goat’s cheese
  • Black pepper
  • Sea salt
  • Runny honey, for drizzling

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Pick the grapes off of the vine and lay on a baking tray, sprinkle with salt and roast for 5 to 10 minutes, until the skins start to split.
  3. As the grapes are roasting, toast the bread, then spread each slice with goat’s cheese and season generously with black pepper.
  4. Once the grapes have roasted, pile them on to the toasts and top with a drizzle of honey.
  5. Enjoy!
